"You already have an instance of this application open... Please contact your administrator"

If the error "You already have an instance of this application open and not allowed to run more than one instance. Please contact your administrator" appears, it is likely that:

  • The earlier Hosted Desktop session was disconnected. Instead of clicking on "Reconnect", the Hosted Desktop icon was clicked on again; or
  • The Hosted Desktop icon was double-clicked on.
